
Abby Cali is an animation director and illustrator based in Cambridge, MA. She works primarily in digital 2D frame by frame animation with needle-felted stop motion, and is known for her internationally award-winning stop motion short film Nonna. Her work has been shown in national and international film festivals and galleries, and she is a recipient of the 2019 S.P.A.C.E. minicomics award.

Abby received her Masters of Fine Arts degree in Illustration Practice from the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, MD. Prior to that she worked as an artist and educator in Cleveland, Ohio.
