Abby Cali is an animation director and illustrator based in Cambridge, MA. She works in digital and traditional media, and is known for her internationally award-winning stop motion short film Nonna. Her work has been shown in national and international film festivals and galleries, and she is a recipient of the 2019 S.P.A.C.E. minicomics award.

Abby has taught animation at Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) and at Lesley University.

When she’s not creating or directing, she loves eating freshly filled cannoli, walking in the woods, and cuddling with her two very silly cats.
